Along the road from Ziano to Vicobarone turn to Calcinara and then to Lavello. The second building left is the wine growers and producers'cooperative “Marchesi Paolo”. Grandfather Giuseppe at the beginning of 1900 was local medical officer, but he liked to produce himself and sell his wine. His son Claudio preferred to be a doctor and left the farm to his sisters. His son Paolo in 1980, after leaving school, hold the reins of the enterprise restoring the cellar, planting new vineyards, following each step of the activity, from vine growing to bottling, to private selling both in bottles and in demijohns. Its main production is red local Doc wines as Gutturnio, Barbera and Bonarda and white wines as Ortrugo and dry Malvasia.
